Seminars & Events

Seidokan Aikido of South Carolina hosts around four seminars per year. In fall, our Friendship Festival features four Sensei (including our own Doug Wedell) from varying styles from the local South Eastern Region for a Saturday of training. Before USC lets out for Winter Break, we also have a Mini Seminar taught in blocks by our instructors. In Spring, we invite a Seidokan Shihan (teacher’s teacher) to share their knowledge with us for a weekend. We also enjoy a wonderful Seminar followed by a picnic once the weather warms up.

All seminars are open to both USC students and the Columbia Club.
